The AI Artist using Technology to Reimagine Creativity and Celebrate Black Beauty

We recently sat down with fast rising AI artist and founder of Pandr Visuals, who uses technology to reimagine beauty and self-expression while placing Black faces and features firmly at the center of her work.

In our conversation, she opened up about her journey, the challenges of working in a controversial medium, and her vision for a more inclusive creative future.

“Pandr Visuals started by accident…”

When we asked about how Pandr Visuals began, she didn’t hesitate to admit that it wasn’t part of some grand plan.

“Pandr Visuals started by accident. I’m self-taught. I learned how to create images using AI out of necessity while working on a client’s website. We needed visuals, I prompted them, and they worked. From there, it grew.”

Initially experimenting with interior renders like bedrooms and living rooms, she quickly transitioned to editorial, lifestyle, and product images. Now, Pandr Visuals means much more than a creative experiment.

“What Pandr means to me now is freedom. I never used to call myself a creative, but AI has changed that. It’s given me a way to express ideas I couldn’t before, faster, clearer, and more visually than ever.”

How AI Has Transformed Her Creative Process

As someone exploring AI in her work, we asked what drew her to this technology and how it has shaped her creative flow.

“AI has made me more expressive and more efficient, not just creatively, but even in my day job. It helps me organize ideas and articulate them visually. On the creative side, it lets me take what’s in my head, test it, refine it, and bring it to life without waiting for anyone’s approval. That kind of access changes everything.”

Centering Black Beauty in AI-Generated Visuals

One of the most striking aspects of Pandr Visuals’ work is how it challenges traditional beauty norms by celebrating Black skin and features. This was no accident.

“AI still defaults to whiteness. If you ask for a ‘woman,’ you’ll usually get a white one. That told me early on that I had to be intentional. I chose to stay focused on Black skin because it’s beautiful, varied, and underrepresented. There are so many tones, textures, and features under the umbrella of Black beauty, and I see that as a space worth defending and exploring.”

On Collaborating With AI Artists Authentically

We were curious about how brands and other creatives can collaborate with AI artists like her without losing their authenticity.

“Start by knowing who you are. If a brand understands its identity and values, working with AI isn’t a threat, it’s a creative amplifier. I always say: don’t see AI as a shortcut. See it as a partner. When you collaborate with an artist like me, we don’t just generate content, we bring your vision into focus, often better than you imagined.”

Facing Skepticism and Finding Purpose

Given the controversies surrounding AI art, we asked if she’s faced any pushback for her work. Her answer was honest.

“Yes, but it’s not just personal, it’s global. AI-generated art is still seen as controversial in many creative circles. Some people feel threatened by it. Others simply don’t understand it yet. Even friends have questioned what I do. But I see all of that as part of a bigger shift. Every new medium faces resistance at first.”

Her philosophy for handling criticism feels like a mantra for anyone building something new.

“When your work is intentional and emotionally resonant, it starts to speak for itself. You don’t need to argue. You just need to keep creating with clarity and purpose and people eventually come around.”

The Future of AI in Beauty

So, is AI in beauty here to stay? Or is it just a passing trend?

“It’s already a shift. Brands are using AI to test styling, casting, and campaign visuals before they shoot anything. That’s not going away. But I do think a line will be drawn between brands using AI with taste and strategy and those just chasing trends. The ones who use it with intention will last. As Maya Angelou said, people remember how you make them feel. That applies to visuals too.”

What’s Next for Pandr Visuals?

As for her plans, Pandr Visuals is in building mode.

“Right now, I’m building a bank of prompts, testing and refining them. Eventually, I want to create a library of royalty-free, culturally grounded visuals people can use without struggle. I’m also working on two products: one to help people prompt better, and another focused on avatar and AI twin styling. As more people use digital representations of themselves, I want to help them do it with style and identity.”

Final Thoughts

Pandr Visuals may be in its early stages, but its bold approach to creativity, representation, and technology feels like a glimpse into the future. At Beautypreneur Hub, we’re excited to see how this emerging AI artist continues to grow and inspire others to create with purpose.
