What inspired you to become a barber?
The urge to do something different from the norms and the confidence clients get after each haircut.

What’s one haircutting myth you wish people would stop believing?
Women cannot cut as sharp as men.

What sets your brand or academy apart from every other barber out there?
The academy: the style and method of teaching, using calculations and mathematical terms to explain how to cut hair, the hands-on practicals that students get to do regularly, and also the family-like relationship.

The brand: delivering clean cuts and good customer relationships.

What has been your biggest business win so far?
I am always happy with all wins, but the most recognized win that got me more visibility, more clientele, and earned me more respect was my interview with BBC News.

What’s the one tool or product you could never work without?
A clipper.
